Pictures and Stuff 23
Utah in Madison, and the Forevertron
9/12/04 -9/13/04

Utah and a member of the The Spanish Civil War Abraham Lincoln Brigade

Utah did a few songs for the Socialist potluck dinner.

We were put up at a lovely Bed & Breakfast: The Victorian Treasure
by the folks arranging Utah's performance in Madison.

Pam, Joanna, and Utah relax on the porch of the Victorian Treasure before heading down to Madison.

The Worm Farm Project and Family Farm Defenders booked Utah into the Orpheum.

Utah and Pam enter the theater. This was the same day that Madison held
it's Ironman triathlon, and there were runners in the street for hours.

Joanna gets a tour of the Orpheum's box and overview of the theater.

Utah checks out the balcony of the old stately theater.

Mingling with folks before the show.

Over 650 fill the house.

Utah sings his songs....

...and tells his stories.

Another great performance ends the evening.

The next day is a vacation day... we take the car ferry across Lake Wisconsin in search of the Forevertron....

We had great weather and fine Wisconsin scenery.

Utah and Joanna

And at last... Doctor Evermor's Forevertron

Utah had viewed this sculpture park some years ago, and wished to revisit with
Doctor Evermor.

Everyone chatting in the Gazebo.

Dr. Evermor and Utah chat away

Utah plays one of the Musical Dragons.

Each scale and cup makes a different tone when struck.

Dr. Evermor allowed us to climb the Forevertron to the observation tower.

The Glass Ball inside the Copper Egg as seen from the Royal Chair in the tower.

I got to throw some of the Forevertron switches.

Joanna waves from the Royal Chair in the tower.

Some of the critters that inhabit the grounds.

Touring the grounds.

Utah and Doctor Evermor chatted for quite a while.
